National Tap Dance Day is

We celebrate that every year to keep it a national day. This year, the Young Hoofers will be starring in a Tribute to Bill Bojangles Robinson on wdenesday May 23rd, 2007 at PS276 in Brooklyn, NY at 7:00 PM.

traci@younghoofers.com. The show will include film clips of Bill Robinson as well as a Bill Robinson's choreographed dance to Doin' the New Low Down. This historic dance was passed down form tyhe legendary tap master, Dr. James Buster Brown.
Legendary Ms. Mable Lee will grace the stage in tribute to Bill Robinson, singing 'Gotta Go Tap Dancing Tonight' which was created by 'Rhythm Red' aka John Shivers of the Original Hoofers(R).
The Young Hoofers include: Calvin 'C-Boogie' Booker, Corwin 'Flex Wonder' Booker, Sheldon 'Genious' Gordon, Lance 'BlackHeart' Liles, Dewitt Fleming and Traci Mann, Artistic Director. |
